Grant Opportunities
The S’firot Foundation is being diligent and methodical about building a Foundation that will be enduring and have good grantmaking practices that reflect the tenets of Judaism, tzedakah and honoring our elders. The Foundation aims to strengthen and support the community to be actively engaged and interconnected. It achieves this by allocating funds using best practices in philanthropy and ensuring that these funds have the greatest possible impact.
The Foundation has completed a comprehensive Needs Assessment examining the experiences, priorities, and evolving needs of Jewish older adults and family caregivers. The Jewish Aging in Greater Orlando Report is now available and will provide an evidence-based framework for the Foundation’s strategic planning and future grantmaking priorities.
INCUBATOR GRANTS
The Incubator Grant Program is now accepting applications.
The S’firot Foundation Incubator Grant Program supports innovative programs, services, and creative approaches that improve the wellbeing, dignity, connectedness, and Jewish engagement of Jewish older adults and their caregivers across Central Florida. These one-year grants encourage organizations to pilot new initiatives, build upon existing programs, and develop research-informed solutions that respond to the priorities identified through the Foundation’s Jewish Aging in Greater Orlando report.
The Incubator Grant Program is available by invitation only. Before beginning an application, invited organizations are required to carefully review the Incubator Grant Eligibility & Application Guide 2026. The Guide outlines the Foundation’s funding priorities, eligibility requirements, application process, and assessment criteria, helping organizations prepare proposals that align with the objectives of the Incubator Grant.
Applicants are also required to review the Foundation’s Jewish Aging in Greater Orlando report before submitting an application. Proposals should demonstrate an understanding of the community needs and opportunities identified in the report and explain how the proposed program responds through innovative approaches with meaningful and measurable outcomes.
