Grantmaking Priorities

The S’firot Foundation is being diligent and methodical about building a Foundation that will be enduring and have good grantmaking practices that reflect the tenets of Judaism, tzedakah and honoring our elders. The Foundation aims to strengthen and support the community to be actively engaged and interconnected. It achieves this by allocating funds using best practices in philanthropy and ensuring that these funds have the greatest possible impact.

The Foundation is currently conducting a comprehensive Needs Assessment to gain a deep understanding of the requirements of older adults and their caregivers in Central Florida. This information will be used to develop a strategic plan which prioritizes funding for the most pressing needs within our geographic area.
