The newly established S’firot Foundation is led by Executive Director Wayne Green and guided by a Board of Directors whose diversity, experience, and passion are shaping a powerful vision for Jewish older adults and their caregivers in Central Florida.
At the helm is Board Chair and President Rhonda Pearlman, alongside Secretary Ali Polejes, Treasurer Scott Zimmerman, and board members Jacob Hara, JoAnne Kane, and Don Levin. Together, they bring a dynamic blend of financial expertise, community engagement, governance experience, and dedication to supporting older adults. United by a belief in the transformative power of philanthropy, they are committed to uplifting Jewish elders and those who care for them.
As Rhonda notes, “Each member brings a wealth of professional expertise and a shared dedication to honoring elders and strengthening community.”
The Board embodies both wisdom and innovation, grounding the Foundation in values of impact, collaboration, integrity, and leadership. Their collective strength ensures S’firot will not only address immediate needs but also foster long-term, systemic change for generations to come.
Looking ahead, the Foundation aims to be more than a funder – it seeks to serve as a connector, convener, and catalyst for collaboration across the continuum of older adult services. Having completed its community needs assessment, S’firot will soon host a community forum to share findings as it continues developing its strategic plan to define future funding priorities and grant opportunities.
