
Rhonda Pearlman
Board Chair and President

Rhonda Pearlman has always believed in being actively involved in her community, having worked as a dedicated volunteer in the Central Florida Jewish community for more than twenty years. Rhonda is the President and Chair of the S’firot Foundation and was instrumental in enabling the establishment of the foundation through her vision, work, and commitment to preserving the legacy of the Kinneret Buildings, whose sale created the Foundation’s endowment to benefit Jewish seniors in Central Florida.
Whether as a coordinator with the Shayna Chai Presser Parenting Center of the Jewish Community Center, as a multiple-term president of the Kinneret Council on Aging, or as a member of the executive board of the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando, Rhonda has been responsible for strategic planning, donor development, facility management and expansion, and the delivery of impactful social services and programs.
Rhonda’s accolades include her participation in the first class of the Jerome Bornstein Young Leadership Program (1991), was honored with the Byron Selber Young Leadership Award (2003), the Kinneret Council’s Award of Honor (2005), and the Jewish Federation’s Woman of Choice Award (2011).
Rhonda has been affiliated with the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) and the Association of Jewish Aging Services (AJAS), and served as a member of the Orange County Commission on Aging, advising county leadership on matters affecting seniors living in Orange County.
Her philanthropic focus is anchored in supporting organizations that provide services and programs to older adults in the Jewish community. She is dedicated to advancing programs in Central Florida and supporting creative and visionary efforts to bring philanthropic partners together.
Rhonda graduated from the University of Miami with a B.Ed. in Elementary Education and earned an MBA from the University of South Florida. Her community experience has been further enriched by participation in the nonprofit certification program of the Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership Center at Rollins College.
Rhonda is a proud grandparent and cherishes spending time with her grandchildren.
