Scott Zimmerman is the founder and principal of AGPM, LLC, an owner/operator of premier multifamily assets throughout the country. He graduated from the University of Florida in 1983 with BS in Real Estate and Urban Analysis. Early in his career, Scott worked for Florida National Bank and Home Federal Bank. In 2000, Scott formed PMCFI to handle all third-party fee management services for a portfolio which had grown from referrals to over 12,000 units prior to an organized acquisition/merge of Reliance.

Scott subsequently launched an investment program into affordable housing which marked the start of AGPM, LLC as an owner/operator of premier multifamily assets throughout the country. He formed Banyan Development Group, LLC (BDG) in 2016 and currently serves as Managing Member. In 2023, Scott formed Poplar Development Group, LLC (PDG) and serves as Managing Member. PDG is another affiliate company focused on acquisition rehabilitations and affordable housing preservation initiatives throughout the country.

Scott has a long history of community service dating back to 2005 when he served as a board member for the Non-Profit Housing Round Table of Central Florida. He has also served on the boards of Kinneret Council on Aging and Kinneret I/II since 2015 and has also served as a Board Member on Shalom Orlando. He currently serves on the City of Orlando Clean Energy and Green Building Committee. Scott also serves as Chair of Board for the Zimmerman Family Foundation and created the Treehouse Foundation in 2012 to provide resident services to residents of owned or managed Apartment Communities.

Scott enjoys yoga, spinning, kick boxing and fishing as well as spending time with his wife of 28 years, Lauren, and three adult daughters and grandson.
